About Me:
Ok…at the risk of sounding egotistical or self deprecating…I'll talk about myself.
What do I do for work?
I am Director of Technology for a small advertising firm that works mainly with travel and tourism websites. We've taken on the task of helping our clients promote green initiatives within their local travel bureaus.
Why do I do it?
Well, the simple answer is…know any other way to get a paycheck and play with computers all day long? The long-er answer is that I enjoy knowing that what I am doing helps budget strapped tourism boards do the right thing by promoting sustainable travel and tourism practices.
What do I believe in?
I'm reinventing myself right now. I'm re-learning, the hard way, many lessons that were given to me as a child, but never explained. I put no blame of my life's teachers. I do wish, however, someone had sat me down and explained the lessons and the consequences of not following them or at least let me explore, in the youth environment, their pros and cons.

*Understanding and acceptance are not always intertwined. I can understand, yet not accept another's difference. As long as I am open to understanding, the diaologue can continue, and I can learn and move towards acceptance. Understanding is the path to the goal of acceptance.
